Positive and Negative coexist in a system. Everything has tinges of goodness or evilness to attain balance. There is no such thing as absolute goodness and i believe evil/negative is a necessity. Without this, how can we believe in the essence of goodness? Without suffering, how can we aim for comfort? Without ignorance, how can we envision learning? Without violence, how can we promote serenity? Without death, how can we value life?
Everything serves a purpose to complete a balance, and destroying a single detail will ruin the harmonious cycle.
Pondering about these things since I experience quite the same thing today. I think I would fail in my major exam in literary history ‘cause i haven’t read one fourth (perhaps, lesser? yeah i dunno i’m lazy this semester.) of the readings. Though, i really wish at least i could pass :( But almost two hours after the agony, I saw my name posted on the list of those who have approved thesis proposals :)
Talking about balance and the coexistence of positive and negative, eh?
